Work with the hiring/recruiting manager to understand their business unit, organization and culture
Understand the responsibilities and technical aspect of the position, reporting relationships and the compensation/benefit package
Discuss the candidate profile (technical skills, education, years of experience, etc.)
Go over where you had the most success in finding your current top performers (competitors, professional organizations related to your industry, professional work history of your top performer, etc.)
